Cosmic Rose

Articles about Mr. Krakar and his work have appeared in the "Jambar", and newspapers such as the Youngstown Vindicator, Midland News, Beaver County Times, Canfield Courier, Cleveland, Plain Dealer, and the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.
Mr. Krakar is a prolific painter who works on large canvases and completes several paintings each month. His technique is a combination of spontaneous splash woven in and out of a grid system that includes rectangles of various sizes and works primarily in oil and acrylics. The paintings are visually exciting in shape, color, form and movement. The overall composition has a great visual impact on the viewer.
Mr. Krakar began his career with numerous drawings and paintings as a landscape and portrait artist and later, upon entering the University, he was introduced, by his teacher and nationally known artist Jon Naberezny, to Abstract Impressionism and has concentrated all his efforts in this area ever since.

Mr. Krakar's work was being represented by the JRB Gallery in Youngstown and also galleries in Boardman and Warren, OH. He is currently maintaining a studio in the Orlando area where he now resides
